Ayodhya Ram Temple: The Congress party refused to participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha program in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024. Regarding this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has attacked All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Choudhary and other leaders.
BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli said, “Congress has not taken any step for the temple in Ayodhya in the last few decades. He denied the existence of Lord Ram and delayed the hearing in the Supreme Court. Therefore, there should be no surprise when the Congress party officially says that it will not participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony).”
‘Congress had promised to reconstruct Babri Masjid’
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, “This is nothing new for those who call Lord Ram imaginary. This is the same Congress which had once promised to rebuild Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. “The public will boycott the Congress which has boycotted Lord Ram in 2024.”
‘Congress’s well thought out plan’
BJP spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill alleged, “First Stalin’s DMK talked about destroying Sanatan Dharma. Then Sharad Pawar’s NCP had declared Lord Ram a meat eater. Today the Congress party rejected the invitation for Pran Pratistha. This is not a coincidence, but a well-planned plan of INDI Alliance to hurt the faith of Indians.
He further said that goods of hatred are being sold in Rahul Gandhi’s love shop.

BJP did not stop here in cursing Congress, it alleged that ‘like Ravana in Treta Yuga, Congress has also lost its mind.’ According to news agency PTI, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, “Today Ram Rajya is back in India and those who will not participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha will regret their whole life. Ravana also lost his intelligence in Treta Yuga.”
